Atrius Health, part of the Optum family of businesses, is seeking an Adult Psychiatrist (MD) to join our team in the Kenmore/Boston area.

Why You’ll Love This Opportunity

• Hybrid flexibility with at least one day onsite
• Monday–Friday schedule , with 8:00 AM–4:00 PM or 9:00 AM–5:00 PM options
• Approximately 60 patients per week
• 60-minute new patient appointments and 30-minute follow-ups
• After-hours phone-only call approximately 2–4 weeks per year
• Collaborative, team-based care environment
• New graduates are welcome
• Opportunity to supervise Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners and junior psychiatrists , if desired

What You’ll Do

As an Adult Psychiatrist with Atrius Health, you’ll provide longitudinal psychiatric care while working closely with an integrated care team.

You’ll have the opportunity to:

• Provide medication management in a team-based setting
• Collaborate and consult closely with Primary Care providers
• Work alongside master’s and doctoral-level therapists, care facilitators, and support staff
• Develop meaningful, ongoing relationships with your patients
• Supervise PMHNPs and junior psychiatrists, if desired
• Contribute your ideas and expertise to a physician-led organization focused on improving patient care

What We’re Looking For

• MD required
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
• Massachusetts physician license or ability to obtain required licensure
• Current active MSCR/prescriptive authority or ability to obtain it in accordance with Massachusetts requirements
• Current active DEA/prescriptive authority or ability to obtain it in accordance with Massachusetts requirements
• Newly trained psychiatrists are encouraged to apply
